Golden Retriever Meets Puppies for the First Time

My Golden Retriver reacted the same way to… guinea pigs. When we brought them home and showed them to her we were very careful, because we didnt know how she would react, but that fear was pointless. She was so friendly and gentle! She even spent first few weeks “guarding” their cage at least few hours a day.Puppies instantly know what’s up when they hear that most gentle gruff- and I also loved when Bailey backed up at one point- like Oh God what do I do?We lost our fur baby on Sunday aged 16yr, 3months and 3 days- we all cried and still cry. This video has put a smile on my face today….I needed this ❤This is so sweet! Look at the little blonde one at 1:28 with the blanket. what a cutie. I can’t wait to see how they look now. Wonder what Bailey was thinking during all this.We all have our ancient ancestors to thank for taking a chance on some of those (less hostile) wolves who begged for food around our campfires for the friends we have today in dogs. Only kind, good and sweet videos like this one that warms my heart and brings a smile to my face.I love how at the beginning, the big dog was all excited and intrigued, but as the video went on you can almost see the realisation on its face of ‘how am I meant to deal with five of them’?This was the most relaxing feel good video I’ve seen for a long time. Just ready and eager curiosity and undiluted natural joy. My heart has been nourished! ❤️Never fails to make me smile, seeing the tails of the puppies wagging so enthusiastically, and Bailey getting along with them…..Bailey looks like a school teacher trying to get all the kids in the classroom to look at her and obey her 😁😁😁
